Westlake OTR has worked with Team Gripen Wheels to deliver high-quality solid tires and services for Kuusakoski Recycling, one of the world's largest and most reputable recyclers of metal and electronics in Finland.

Working with scrap recycling requires puncture-free tires with high load capacity and maintained driving comfort, and the Westlake SR01H Soft Drive Solid was just perfectly engineered for that purpose.

The four pieces of WESTLAKE 23.5-25 L5 SR01H SOFT DRIVE have been mounted on a Volvo L120G rolling for a couple of months at the Recycling Center in Gävle. Per Jonsson at Kuusakoski in Gävle certifies that the tires work very satisfactorily so far.

Westlake SR01H

Westlake SR01H is a solid tire engineered for severe service applications such as mines, rock quarries, scrap, and solid waste transfer stations. This tire is also well suited for use on landfills and steel mills.

Extra deep tire treads guarantee a long tire life. The 23.5-25 has a full 90 mm pattern depth.
